Departure from the car park opposite Lunéville Castle.
(S/E) Head north along Rue du Général Chanzy and cross the bridges over the two branches of the Vezouze river. At the roundabout, follow Rue de la Résistance, which is slightly to the right.
(1) Then turn left onto Rue François Richard and walk up the street towards Les Terrasses de Méhon, ignoring all the side streets.
(2) At the crossroads, turn left onto Chemin de Friscati and continue straight ahead. After about 600 metres, turn left towards Sainte-Epvre onto Chemin du Grand Bordel.
(3) At the entrance to the woods, you will find an orientation table with a view of Lunéville and the Vosges mountains in the background. Continue along the path until you reach the end.
(4) At the crossroads, turn right and cross a wood. Between the fields, ignore a path coming from the right and reach the Sainte-Epvre farm.
(5) Then follow the road to the left (below, view of the village of Deuxville). At the intersection, turn left onto the D97 (Chemin de Friscati).
(6) At the crossroads (military cemetery and museum), turn right onto Allée Marie-Marguerite Wibrotte. At Les Quatre Vents, continue west on Chemin de la Vieille Route. Cross the D20 and continue straight ahead on the paved path.
(7) At the end of the lane, turn right onto a stony path. Climb up to the Léomont site, ignoring a path on the right.
(8) At the top, turn right to the Stèle du Combattant Français (information panels and orientation table with a 360° view of the surrounding region, as far as Nancy). Retrace your steps.
(8) Descend to the right towards Vitrimont via the Chemin de la Basse Léomont.
(9) Cross the D400 and, after about 100 metres, at a fork, take the path on the left towards Vitrimont.
(10) At the crossroads, follow Rue Saint-Nicolas straight ahead, then turn left onto Rue du Col de Cissey. Turn right onto Rue Crocker. At the roundabout, turn right onto Rue de la Fontaine. Ignore a street on the right and continue straight ahead towards the Vitrimont communal forest. Enter the forest and continue to a T-junction.
(11) Turn left towards Lunéville via Chemin du Rendez-vous. Leave the forest and pass the hamlet of La Faisanderie.
(12) After a right-hand bend, turn right onto the ridge path.
At an intersection, continue east-southeast along the ridge. Descend via Chemin du Haut des Potiers. At the bottom, turn right onto Rue des Cités Sainte-Anne.
(13) Cross the Vezouze river via the bridge and continue straight ahead along Rue du Général J.E. Vancon. About 100 metres after the junction with Chemin du Porche, turn left onto a small path. At the end, turn left onto Boulevard Georges Pompidou and continue for about 100 metres.
(14) Turn right onto Sentier du Trou du Cochon and walk past the allotments. Cross Rue Yves des Hours and continue along Chemin du Jardin Mahu until you reach Rue de Graffigny. Follow this street to the left until you reach the end. Continue across a vacant lot until you reach the Vezouze river.
(15) Turn right and follow the river to Rue Sébastien Keller. Follow this street to the left until you reach Rue de la Tour Blanche. Take this street to reach a roundabout opposite the Château de Lunéville (S/E).
