The twenty-foot ditch from Bailleul-Sir-Berthoult

Start from the Town Hall Square.

(S/E) Leave the car park, walk past the town hall, then take the second right, Rue du Four, until you reach the junction with Rue de la Paix.

(1) Turn left, then at the end, turn right onto Rue du Cornet, then turn left onto Rue des Processions. Continue straight on to the end, then take the path on the left. You will come to Rue de Fampoux.

(2) Turn right, then take the second right and continue straight on until the junction.

(3) Turn left, then at the end, turn left again and cross over the A26.

(4) Turn left, then continue straight on, following the motorway until you reach the main road.

(5) Turn left, go back under the A26 and continue straight on along the D950 until the end of the straight stretch.

(6) Turn left twice and take the D40 to continue straight on until you reach a road coming from the right.

(7) Turn right and keep going until you reach the D33.

(8) Turn left onto the road, enter Oppy and take Rue d’Arleux on the left (D50), then continue straight on until you reach Chemin de Bailleul.

(9) Turn left onto this track and follow it to the end of the woods.

(10) Turn left, then right towards the D49.

(11) Cross it carefully and continue straight ahead. At the first junction, turn right and keep right until the second fork.

(2) Continue straight on and return to the starting point (S/E).
