The Clôt du Dou and the Canal de la Pisse

Park at the paragliding launch site car park. Follow yellow markings for most of the route.

(S/E) With your back to the car park, head towards Les Quatre Chemins.

(1) Turn left towards Clôt du Dou. Follow the road, then leave it to take the track that climbs to the right towards Clôt du Dou.

(2) Follow this track, which climbs steadily, to reach Clôt du Dou.

(3) Head down into the clearing to reach a junction where two paths meet.

(4) Turn right onto the path, which climbs quite steeply. This climb is the only real challenge! You’ll reach the Canal de la Pisse.

(5) Follow it initially to the left until you reach the canal’s water intake. Admire the Waterfall de la Pisse directly in front of you.

(6) Retrace your steps. There’s a lovely view of the Morgon range.

(5) Continue to follow the canal, taking care to watch out for tree roots in places. Cut across a track coming from Clôt du Dou.

(7)Continue to follow the canal, which meanders a few times before disappearing, giving way to a level track which then begins a rather steep descent. You’ll come to another track

(8) Follow this track to the right as far as Saint-Vincent-les-Forts. Ignore the track branching off to the left at the Dantane signpost. Return to Les Quatre Chemins.

(1) Turn left and head for the paragliding take-off car park (S/E).
