Start 20 km from Rodez on the A88 (exit 26 towards Baraqueville). Park at the car park next to the tourist information office.

(S/E) From the tourist information office, next to the fountain on Place François Mitterrand, walk up the main street for 100 m to the D507 (Rue de la Vallée du Vaur, towards Camboulazet). Follow the road to the railway line.
(1) Turn right onto a dirt track that descends to the lake at Carcenac. Walk along the lake on your left until you reach a small service road. Turn left and continue to the bend.
(2) Turn left and head uphill. At the junction, keep left to reach the D507.
(3) Take the Route du Fieu opposite, and immediately turn left onto a sunken track which, after passing through a wood, joins the road to the Volpillac le Haut farm. Continue left along the road for 350 m, then turn left for 100 m. Take another road for 50 m until you reach the first farm track.
(4) Turn right onto this track and continue to the bridge over the railway line.
(5) Turn off under the bridge, then take the path on the left leading to the A88.
(6) Take the dirt track opposite (take care) leading to Vors (view of the Roman fountain), keeping straight ahead at all junctions. In the village, turn left onto Rue de la Fontaine Romaine. Keep left twice until you reach the village exit.
(7) Turn left towards Baraqueville, continue for 300 m then turn right onto the first path. You will reach the banks of the pond.
(8) Continue to the right to go round the pond and reach Baraqueville, keeping straight ahead until you reach the Espace Raymond Lacombe: turn left twice, then right at the end of the road onto Rue de Vors (D110) to return to the car park (S/E).
