Head to the Chalet-Hôtel du Gioberney at the end of the Valgaudemar Valley.
Park in the upper car park.
There are no markings, just a few signposts and cairns.
(S/E) With your back to the chalet, take the path heading north towards Lac Lauzon. 50 metres further on, at the fork, take the left-hand path, continuing to follow the signs for Lac Lauzon.
(1) 200m further on, leave the path on the left that indicates Lac Lauzon (this will be the way back).
Continue straight ahead, following the sign for Refuge du Pigeonnier. The trail continues gently, then climbs in switchbacks to bypass the Torrent de Muande Bellone. Follow the torrent above for a while and then set off again on a series of hairpin bends that lead to a less steep section. Leave two paths on your left (10 metres apart), which also lead to the lake, and continue for another ten metres or so until you reach the fork just before a left-hand bend.
(2) Take the path on the left towards Lac Lauzon. After about 50 metres, before the path crosses a stream near some bushes, leave a path on the left. Find a grassy track that climbs up to the right north-west (be careful, there are no cairns or signs at this junction and the track is not very visible at first).
The trail climbs straight west along a stream, then turns left to the south to cross a small rocky step and arrive at a flat section.
The trail continues for about 50 metres westward, climbing slightly to reach the tiny Lac Bleu.
(3) Walk along the left side of the lake, following the trail that heads south, down a gentle slope.
Pass a small lake, then another small lake overgrown with vegetation.
The slope becomes a little steeper as you approach a stream, then you will be able to see Lac Lauzon below by taking a few steps to the left of the trail.
Further down, a waterfall on your right indicates where the trail turns left to pass under the rocks and reach Lac Lauzon.
(4) Go around the lake on the left and when the trail climbs a little, find another trail coming from the left (the one you left earlier to climb up to Lac Bleu).
Turn right and head towards the lake to follow the other shore.
400 metres after the lake, admire the beautiful waterfall on your right. The trail continues on flat ground, crosses the Torrent du Lauzon via a small footbridge, then climbs a few metres before beginning the descent.
A series of switchbacks take you above the Chalet and the famous Voile de la Mariée.
(5) Continue the descent heading north, then the trail veers east to rejoin the trail taken on the way up.
(1) Turn right to reach the car park (S/E).
