Park in the car park near the school. This route is marked with hiking posts and will soon be supplemented with yellow markings.
(S/E) From the car park, opposite the school, turn left. Head towards the restored 18th-century market hall.
(1) Continue straight ahead to the roundabout and turn left onto Rue des Gagères, then take the first right. Pass in front of the town hall and reach the banks of the recently developed lake.
(2) Walk around the lake in whichever direction you prefer, pass the town hall again, then turn right to reach the square with the 12th-century church, listed as a historic monument, which has preserved a Romanesque portal and a Gothic portal.
(3) Cross Rue des Gagères and continue towards Le Buisson via Chemin de la Croix. At the three-way junction, turn right onto Chemin de la Place to reach Chemin des Verchères. Turn left, then at the three-way junction, turn right onto Chemin du Tacot and continue to Le Buisson.
(4) Turn left towards Les Seyettes and En Préau. Continue straight ahead.
(5) At Les Seyettes, turn left towards En Préau, then take the small tarmac road on the right, which turns into a dirt/grass track through the fields.
At the three-way junction in En Préau, turn left towards Frans and join the Route de Biesse. Turn left and continue for about 200 metres.
(6) At En Biesse, turn right onto the farm track towards Bois de Gleteins and Frans. At the crossroads near the woods, go straight ahead.
(7) At Bois de Gleteins, turn left towards Frans and continue along Chemin Vert.
(8) Turn left onto Rue des Écoles and head towards the village. You will come to the junction with Route des Sorbiers, where you should turn right to reach the nearby car park (S/E).
