Park on Place du Foirail in Pampelonne, on the Rue du Tarramagnou side.
The route will be marked in yellow and red-yellow, with occasional signs saying "de Las Planques à Thuriès" or no markings at all.
(S/E) Take Rue du Tarramagnou and turn right at the third street. At the bend, go straight ahead onto the grassy track to the left of the "Les Vignes du Viaur" pillar. Pass a turn-off on the left, turn right at the D78 and continue straight ahead to the wide grassy track.
(1) Continue along the track, which makes two bends between the foot of the ruins of Château de Thuriès and the dam, descending towards the Viaur.
(2) Cross the Viaur on the right over a bridge alternating between wood and stone. After crossing, turn left and continue to the next crossroads.
(3) Go up to the right, following the sign for "Las Planques à Thuriès". The path curves sharply to the right and then turns left. After the bend, it heads east for 1 km and then turns north towards La Rive. The path, which is sometimes very narrow, is lined with brambles, thistles, broom and heather. After crossing a field, turn left along the trees until you reach the road.
(4) Turn left. The road crosses La Rive and becomes a path at its end. Take this path, which descends gently. The second half of the path descends significantly. At the end of the descent, a few steps lead to the D78 road.
(5) Walk carefully along the departmental road. Reach the Pont de Thuriès bridge and cross it.
(6) After the bridge, keep to the right to descend as close as possible to the Viaur and follow it. Follow the route of the Château de Thuriès and Viaur.
(7) In front of the Moulin de Bondouy access road, admire it without changing banks. Continue to the next bridge.
(8) Turn sharply to the left. This is followed by a right-hand bend and then, after a left-hand bend, the yellow markings climb higher, leaving the groves and ending up on the road at the first houses of Pampelonne.
(9) Follow the road. At the T-junction, first turn right then left. At the end of the lane, make another slight right-left turn.
(10) Turn right onto Rue Al Cloutet. Continue along Rue de Tarramagnou to reach Place du Foirail (S/E).
