Set off from the Manoir de Briançon, which also serves as the town hall.
(S/E) Walk past the manor house and take the footbridge over the Yères; follow the path and go through the gate.
(1) At the end of the path, turn right onto Rue de la Plage. After 80 metres, take the road on the right, Rue du Moulin à Huile.
(2) At the end of the street, take the path behind the last building on the left (oil mill). Continue along this path until you reach the junction with the road. Turn right onto Basse Rue and follow it to the end, where it joins Rue de la Plage.
(3) Ignore the road and turn right onto the Chemin des Soupirs. Enjoy the viewpoints along this path, continue to the seafront and turn right at the car park entrance. Follow the seafront,
go round the square on the right and pass Impasse des Cygnes on your right.
(4) At the end, turn right onto Rue du 11 Novembre and walk for about 100 metres. Take the path at the far end of the small square after the residential blocks and walk alongside the River Yères at a distance. Follow this path, continue along Impasse des Avocettes and go straight on onto Avenue de la Marne.
(5) At the junction, leave Rue du Mont Joli Bois and Avenue des Isles on your right and continue along Rue du 11 Novembre. After 200 metres, turn right onto Avenue de la Belgique and continue along the small path at the far end on the left until you reach the end. Continue along Avenue du Casino until you reach the end, opposite the Château de Chantereine.
(6) Turn left onto Rue du Parc, go to the end of the street and turn right for 50 metres.
(7) Turn left onto Rue des Tilleuls. Do feel free to turn round and take a look at the château. At the end of the street, turn right onto Rue Achille Pain. At the junction, keep right, following Rue de la Libération, and continue to the pedestrian crossing.
(8) Cross the road to reach Chemin de Tourmont on the opposite side. Follow it for 300 metres, stopping to visit the small garden on the right as you go and walking round the primary school.
(9) At the junction, take the path on the left which passes under the road (D925) and continue for 500 m until you reach a junction opposite the little Bois Charles.
(10) Turn right and follow the path straight on, past the wind turbines. At the end of the path, turn left, then right 100 metres further on. Pass under the power line and reach a fork in the path just before another group of wind turbines.
(11) Head down the path on the right until you reach the D16. Turn right onto this road and continue for about 300 m, passing the Cabaret farm.
(12) Take the small path on the left that leads downhill, then turn right onto Route de Touffreville and follow the river for about 400 m.
(13) Follow the path to the left until you reach the junction. Turn right, then take the next right to pass under the D925A. Follow the country lane and, at the next junction, turn left to reach Rue de la Libération (D925A) 50 metres further on.
(14) Turn right and, after 50 m, take Chemin des Aubépines on the left. Follow this path to the end, turn right into Rue des Érables and continue straight on along the path that continues from there. You will reach Rue de la Plage.
(1) Cross the road and take the small path opposite to reach the Manoir de Briançon (S/E).
