Car park at Place des Tilleuls in Flocques.
(S/E) On the square, opposite the church, turn left onto Rue des Écoles and continue for 150 metres. Turn left and continue straight ahead until you see the sign for "Sentier des Mares".
(1) Follow the path indicated on the left. At the exit, on Rue d'Heudelimont, turn right for 50 metres to find Sentier des Mares on the left, which goes around the houses of Flocques.
(2) When you reach a car park, turn right onto the tarmac path along the road. Cross over and continue on the other side of the road until you find a white path on the left after 150 m.
(3) Take this path northwards and, at thefirst wind turbine, continue straight on, passing under thesecond wind turbine.
(4) At Ferme des Granges, keep to the right and descend for 400 metres. Turn left onto the D940 and immediately turn right twice.
(5) Go down Rue Saint Michel Prolongée. At the crossroads, go straight ahead and keep to the right, going down Rue Saint-Michel to Croix de Pierre. Continue straight ahead, going down Rampe Napoléon on the left.
(6) Cross Quai François1er and follow the port on the left until you reach the municipal fish market, which you will go around on the right. Continue straight ahead onto the pier to go around the lighthouse. Return by turning right. Cross the car park and climb the stairs on the right to reach the beach esplanade. Follow it for about 700 metres.
(7) At the roundabout, turn left onto Rue Amiral Courbet. Pass the funicular railway station, then turn right to climb the Escalier des Falaises (cliff stairs) (you can also take the free funicular railway).
(8) At the top of the first steps, turn right and continue up the stairs to the top. Continue straight ahead, climb the few steps to reach the path leading to the viewpoint.
(9) Viewpoint. Turn left and cross the D126E to reach the Chemin des Veillées and follow it to the end.
At the fork, turn right at a 90° angle to take a path for 1,200 metres, ignoring the path that branches off to the left further on.
(10) After the farm on your left, ignore the path on the right, enter and cross Mesnil Sorel. At the crossroads, cross Route de Mesnil Val and take Rue du Buzot in Flocques. Stay on this street and pass the stop signs.
(11) Continue along this road, which is now called Rue de L'Église. Cross Route d'Étalondes to reach Place des Tilleuls (A/D).
