Park in the shaded car park at the town hall (except on Thursdays, market day).
(S/E) Cross over to the left, look for Rue du Moulin and follow it to the left until you reach the school.
(1) Take Route d'Orus on the right.
(2) Turn right again onto Route d'Arconac, keep left at the three-way junction to reach the hamlet. Follow the main street, cross the bridge over the Vicdessos stream and visit the Château de Cabre.
(3) Retrace your steps and take the road on the right that runs alongside the Vicdessos stream. Pass the water treatment plant, then the waste collection centre and continue along the track to reach the junction with the old road towards Illier.
(4) Take the path on the left: with a passage that is sometimes tricky due to fallen trees, this is certainly the most difficult part of the hike. Reach the end of the old road and come out onto the D908.
(5) Continue climbing to the left to reach the village of Illier.
(6) Take Rue de l'Ancienne École on the right to see the town hall and church, then return to the fork.
(6) Go straight ahead, negotiate the right-hand bend, then immediately take the path on the left towards Orus, following the GRP® Tour du Pic des Trois Seigneurs, marked in yellow and red. You will rejoin the tarmac road at a hairpin bend.
(7) Go down the road to the left for about a hundred metres, then take a path on the right that leads to Orus at the cemetery. When you reach the church, continue to the right until you reach the small square at the end of the tarmac road.
(8) Go down the cobbled street on the left and take the first path on the right towards Sentenac.
(9) When you reach the entrance to the village, follow the road to the left and find a well-marked path on the left at the hairpin bend, which passes under the cemetery. Go downhill to join the D18.
(10) Turn left and follow the road carefully until you reach Place du Marronnier in Vicdessos, in front of the EPHAD.
(11) Turn left onto Route de la Vexane, join Chemin de Mariotte and take the street on the left towards the church.
(1) Continue on the right to return to the car park (S/E).
