Parking near the church in Loray. Yellow and blue signposts
(S/E) Go up Rue de l'Église, then turn left at the first fork. The road becomes a gravel path until you reach the old calvary. Then go up Rue de la Roche Barchey. At the end, turn left onto the gravel road that enters a beautiful fir forest and quickly forks.
(1) Go up the left-hand lane. At the top, at a T-junction, turn left and stay on this well-graveled path.
(2) Shortly after the isolated farmhouse of Pré Hérard, enter the woods via the farm track that climbs up to the right towards Roche Barchey. At the top, it becomes a footpath and, at the new gravel road, continue climbing to the right
(3) About a hundred metres higher up, look for the two paths on the left that climb up to La Roche. Take the first one up and come back down the second one. There is a beautiful 180° view to the north over the Reverotte valley and the entire plateau. Continue along the gravel road until you reach a hairpin bend and descend via the logging track on the left, which offers a beautiful view of the Vennes plain. Back on the gravel road, continue downhill to the left until you reach a large gravel area.
(4) Continue left, descending the small paved road. Be careful! 150 metres further down, look for the stony path climbing up to the left (unmarked). Cross a farm track and continue along the path opposite. You will come to a wider stony path which you climb up to the left until you reach a small tarmac road, which you follow down to the right.
(5) Turn left at the old fern farm to reach the Sainte-Radegonde Chapel and its beautiful cliffs. There are picnic tables here.
(6) After your visit, continue climbing up this small but quiet paved road. When it starts to descend, leave a road on your right and continue downhill to the edge of the woods.
(7) At the foot of a large fir tree, turn left into the field along the grassy path (towards Roche Barchey), which becomes a beautiful cliff-top path (the most beautiful part of the route, in my opinion). Join a beautiful stony path and descend to the right.
(8) At the fork in the trails, continue straight towards Loray. At the cemetery, head back towards the village and the church (S/E).
