Park in the car park in the village of Marie.
(S/E) Take the stairs on Rue du Roussoir, near the fountain, and follow the yellow markings. You will reach a crossroads with trail marker 64.
(1) Keep left on Chemin de Clamia.
(2) At marker 65, keep left on Chemin de Clamia, which is actually a footpath.
(3) At the pass, turn left after the two cairns and follow a cattle track: no markings, just a few cairns. Reach the summit of Pointe de Clamia.
(4) Ahead of us is the Tinée Valley, the village of Rimplas and its fort. Turn back to the pass.
(3) Continue straight ahead on the wooded path that climbs gradually.
(5) At the trail junction marked 71, continue to the right towards the Col de la Séréna.
(6) Turn right at marker 130, towards Col de la Séréna. The path is somewhat deteriorated.
(7) Cross the tarmac road and continue straight ahead to rejoin the ascending trail. You will reach a crossroads (marker 129). Please note: the map shows the marker before this crossroads, which is an error.
(8) Turn left and continue along this path to reach a junction marked by a cairn.
(9) Turn left to reach the rocky promontory located about twenty metres away, which overlooks the Val de Blore. Take in the magnificent panorama of the villages below in the valley. Turn around, descend from the observatory and continue straight ahead to find marker 128 at the Col de la Séréna.
(10) This is a large clearing. For those interested in history, about twenty metres to the right of the marker is the entrance to a blockhouse. Cross the clearing to reach marker 127.
(11) Please note: marker 127 indicating the direction of Marie is located a little higher up. This is not a path starting as indicated on the map, but a very beautiful track suitable for vehicles, which you will follow.
(12) At this crossroads, leave the track and go straight ahead down the path leading to another track.
(13) Follow this for about 20 metres, then take the path on the right through the Lauzetta Forest. You will reach the junction at marker 66.
(14) Take the track towards Marie for about 100 metres.
(15) Take the path on the right, following the yellow markings and the small posts marked "itinéraires pédestres" (walking routes). Cross the track several times.
(16) Continue along the descending path, passing a stone barn before reaching the first junction at marker 64.
(1) Turn left towards Marie and head for the village car park (S/E).
