The starting point is on the Route d'Eygalières in Orgon. Near the junction of the access road is a well-known vineyard. Take this marked path for about 500m and, at an altitude of 126m, you will find a large area that can be used for parking.
(S/E) Head south-southwest on a wide path. After 300 metres, it turns southwest and, 400 metres further on, passes under a high-voltage power line. Stay on this main path, ignoring the paths branching off to either side.
(1) You have now travelled about 3 km from the start. At this point, the actual path (which we followed) deviates significantly from the map. Head south for about 100 m, then turn right towards the north-west to approach a small barrier about 1.5 m high.
(2) It is easy to climb and you will reach a large area of slabs. Descend them, keeping to the right, north-west, towards the watercourse. This quickly becomes a path that gradually turns left, towards the west, and reaches a crossroads.
(3) Turn left and then immediately right, heading south, onto a wider path coming from Eygalières.
Note: aerial photos show that the path from (1) joins (3), but without passing by the slabs.
(4) After 100 metres south and a cultivated area on your right, look for and take a narrow path on the left that leads into the undergrowth and climbs gradually. After about 1.3 kilometres, you will reach the highest point (289 metres) and join the Gros Calan forest path.
(5) Take it to the left towards the south-east for 250 metres and continue along this path for a while.
(6) Turn left to cross the plateau, keeping north. Then begin the descent via Adeline and the gorges, which continue and lead you directly to the car park (S/E).
17/07/2023 Moderator's note: the hike has been modified because the Roquemartine estate has closed all access from Saint Hubert to coast 169.

However, the map was a disaster. We got lost several times and thought we would have to turn back (at point 9, two-thirds of the way through the hike, which we clearly did not want to do!). We wandered around for quite a while and ended up walking at least 17 or 18 kilometres because we kept going round in circles! Fortunately, the map helped us quite a bit, even though it is no longer up to date and therefore did not allow us to easily find the path at point 9. Unfortunately, I did not bring anything to write with, so I cannot provide a detailed "report" to help future hikers, but I will still try to give some pointers:
). I absolutely loved the viewpoint from the slab, a very beautiful spot!
