Description of the walk

Start: Park in the Mirador restaurant car park (50 spaces). Be careful, after 10am in high summer, the car park fills up quickly!

(S/E) The trail starts on the other side of the road, in the pine forest. An information sign "PR®6 Cruz" indicates the start of the hike, and shows the route and markings (single-track S7). The climb is steady and constant on a path that winds through the forest but presents no particular difficulties.

(1) At the information sign, the main trail intersects with the one leading to the Ermita de la Virgen de la Cueva. Continue straight ahead along the ridge to the summit of Monte Oroel, where you'll find a cross. Caution, the wall is very vertical.

(2) The return journey takes the opposite route to the outward journey, back to the car park (S/E).
