_Start: The start is located by the Calle Minerva roundabout and the Avenida Jose Antonio Tavio, in the locality of Costa del Silencio.
(S/E) Continue along the asphalt road towards Guargacho for just under 300m before taking the dirt track that leads off to the right into the volcanic park. Cross a low wall and follow the track that runs alongside it, in the shadow of the volcano. Follow this main path to an intersection at the coast.
(1) Take the path to the right along the coast. Although it is passable and well-maintained, beware of stones that may slip as you pass. Follow the path and enjoy the scenery of the volcanic coastline until you reach a new junction where you reach the base of the volcano.
(2) Take the path on the right that runs along the base of the volcano and heads in the direction of the finish path. It comes to an intersection a few metres further on.
Turn left and follow the path up to the crater.
Continue on the right-hand path that climbs the volcano. It climbs reasonably steeply to the top of the volcanic cone.
(3) Follow the crater for half its circumference, then descend to Amarilla beach.
Return to the starting point along the asphalt road, then take the second street on the right to the traffic circle (S.E).
