Facilities for coming from Stream or the Muscadet vineyards along the Loire to arrive near the Eiffel-style bridge and park on the Quai des Mariniers.
(S/E) Start by heading west and right, pass under the TGV tracks and join Rue des Sauzaies. Turn right again towards Rue du Port, continue to the second intersection and turn left at the foot of the cliffs.
(1) Go up Chemin de Rome on the right to reach the top of the rocks. Continue along Sentier Saint-Clément and then Rue de la Fontaine Bruno.
:2:: Turn right onto Rue de la Prime. At the next crossroads, continue left and join Chemin de la Piletière; follow it to the right for about 300 metres. Turn left onto the path that leads to Rue du Val-Manteau towards Parc de la "Droitière". You will reach a crossroads with the driveway to the castle.
(3) Turn left to reach the entrance to the château.
(4) The Château de la Droitière and its park with centuries-old trees are only open during the summer season. Retrace your steps back to the crossroads.
(3) Turn left onto Rue du Val-Manteau and walk downhill along the fence. Follow the path south-eastwards, which leads to the first promontory above the Loire.
(5) Enjoy the view of the river, its valley and its bridges (Eiffel-style), then continue for about a hundred metres to reach a second viewpoint. Continue along the path that leads back to the intersection with the castle driveway.
(3) Turn left and begin the descent to the bottom of the valley. Enjoy this concentration of greenery, water and scents. Soak up the positive energy of this place. Pass under the railway tracks to reach the towpath known as the "Grands Champs".
(6) Walk to the right, pass under the bridge and return to the car park on Quai des Mariniers (S/E).
