Go to Pujaudran and park in the car park behind the church. ¹
(S/E) Set off along Chemin de la Rose, which turns into a grassy track. Follow it to reach Chemin de l'Autan.
(1) At La Rose, turn left onto this path, without coming out onto the road.
(2) Take the straight path on the right that runs between the bushes. Continue straight ahead, then, in front of a fenced passage, take the path on the right that soon enters the Bouconne Forest. The path, which initially heads east, turns north-east, then descends slightly and climbs again. It is well marked and signposted. Join a track where theGR®653, the Way of St James (Via Tolosana), passes.
(3) At the wooden barrier, turn right, heading due east, and now follow the track marked in yellow for thePR® and red and white for theGR®653. The forest cover changes, with pine trees replacing oak trees.
Pass by a pidgeon hunting hut (signs at the edge of the path, note the shooting platform at the top of the tree and the shelters at its base).
You will arrive at a large crossroads where tree trunks are neatly stacked. You are now not far from the entrance to the Maison Forestière de Saint-Louis, at a crossroads. End ofthe GR®653.
(4) Turn right and follow the signs for Chemin de Saint-Jacques to Pujaudran direct.
The track soon becomes a path running alongside a fence, approaching a house (bench on the side). Go through a gate and join a small road (Chemin des Moulins).
(5) Turn right and follow this small road which serves various houses and heads west. When the road turns left to the south-west, follow it for 100 metres to a crossroads.
(6) Leave Chemin des Moulins, which joins the Toulouse road, and follow Chemin de l'Autan on the right. You will come to a crossroads.
(7) Turn left onto Chemin de Cardayre without crossing the stream.
(8) Just before the stream, turn right onto a mini footbridge, a path between the stream and the fence, running alongside the stream.
Join a farm track on the left-hand side of the field and walk up the valley along this track, following the stream ditch. Then, at the fork in the streams, follow the left-hand branch. Pass under the cemetery and join a residential street that leads to Allée des Mûriers.
Walk up this lane a little way to the car park where you started (S/E).
