Park at the junction of Chemin du Tramway and the D533 in the Pin district next to the old inn.
(S/E) Head south-southeast along a small tarmac road (Chemin du Pin). After about 200 m, take the first path on the right; be careful, the slope is steep but short. The path then winds through a coniferous forest to pass above the hamlet of Coudiol, then joins another path, still heading east-southeast. This path becomes a trail and overlooks the hamlet of La Cabane. Walk between a fence or hedge and a ditch until you reach a junction of tarmac roads.
(1) Take the path opposite heading north-east, which is flat at first and then descends for about 500 m.
(2) Turn left onto the path, which first runs alongside a fence and then enters a wood. At the end of the descent, it meets another path coming from the right. Continue straight ahead towards the hamlet of Sanson. Go through a chicane created in a fence and pass under the farm called Guinguette de Sanson. Follow the Ruisseau de Hongrie stream, pass under a green-roofed shed and then climb up to a small tarmac road.
(3) Follow it to the right and then, a little further up, you will come to a four-way crossroads. Continue straight ahead on the uphill road (Chemin de Sauzet), towards Le Hérisson, until you reach thesecond road on the left.
(4) Take the dead-end road on the left, Chemin de Lorient, and follow it until you reach the wide bend to the right, a few metres before the end of the fields.
(5) Take the path on the left that leads to the hamlet of Cerisier.
(6) Ignore a path on the left with a hiking signpost and continue straight ahead until you reach a road.
(7) Take it on the left, then take the first path on the right, which passes under a farm shed and arrives at the road connecting Saint-Romain au Pin at the Croix de Cerisier, which gives this hike its name.
(8) Follow it to the left heading south, taking care with the traffic; pass a first crossroads and then a first path on the right with a hiking signpost.
(9) At the second megalith, take the path on the right that enters the woods. Follow it downhill south-southwest to the hamlet of Mazel, cross it and rejoin a small tarmac road.
(10) Take it to the left heading south to the hamlet of Bellevue.
(11) Turn right onto Route des Crêtes and continue to the first crossroads.
(12) Take the path on the left, which is flat at first and then descends southwards, overlooking the Route du Pin and leading to the Chemin de Bellevue.
(13) Take the path opposite, which leads to the rear of the Auberge du Pin, then turn right onto the path that goes around the inn and leads to the Route du Pin (RD533). Turn left to return to the car park (take great care: busy road) (S/E).
