(4) At the junction, turn left to follow the GR®30 path which climbs towards the mountain pastures (red/white markings).

(5) At the next Fork in the road, leave the GR®30 and the red/white markings to continue straight on along the rocky path.

(6) Turn left onto the path along the ridge to walk along the base of the Banne d'Ordanche and then climb the steps for a unique view!

(7) Then head back down the ridge and turn left towards the car park on the D609.

(8) Cross the road by first turning right then left and taking the path leading down to the Murat-le-Quaire fitness trail; continue straight ahead until you reach the junction before the road.

(9) Turn right before the road (D609) and follow the path to join the fitness trail, continuing to Lac du Pré Cohadon. Carry on to the car park entrance.

(10) Cross the D609 road and head down Impasse des Couderts, then take the Route de la Banne d’Ordanche (D609) to the church in the village of Murat-le-Quaire.

(11) Turn slightly left onto the Route des Planches (D219) and, after 150 metres, take the path on the right that passes by the cemetery, then take the first path on the right which turns into a track, Chemin de Font de Loup, at the goat farm, then becomes a tarmac road at Quaire (ignore the side roads and paths branching off to the sides).

(12) Turn left then cross the railway line, follow Chemin de Borvo straight ahead, then take Chemin des Fées on the right to enjoy the view.

(13) At the crossroads, enjoy the view from the Roche des Fées and head down the path on the left which leads to Rue Sedaiges via some damp steps. Once in the centre of La Bourboule, on Place du Jet d’Eau, follow Rue du Professeur Cuvelier straight ahead.Cross the Dordogne and head to the tourist office located beneath the town hall building (S/E).
