The Villaroise walk and the Touppau

The route starts at a small car park near the church on Rue du Milieu.

(S/E) Head due south to reach Rue des Concises Legouge after a few metres. Turn left onto it for 20 m, then turn left into Rue de la Place to reach Rue de la Place Saint-Jean shortly afterwards. Turn left onto it and continue straight on until you reach Rue du Milieu.

(1) Turn right until you reach the crossroads. Cross with care, then head straight ahead, still following Rue du Milieu. Take the next street on the left and continue until you reach the next wide road on the right.

(2) Turn onto this path and it will lead to Rue du Moulin. Turn left onto Rue du Moulin and follow it for about 400 m until you reach the start of a path.

(3) Take this path on the left, which leads to Rue des Vallots.

(4) Turn left onto Rue des Vallots, then take the next path on the right which leads to a road.

(5) Turn left onto it, passing the cemetery on your left shortly afterwards, and immediately after that, you’ll reach the D178. First turn left then right with care, then head up a path, ignoring the paths to the left and right, and begin the descent to the next junction.

(6) Turn onto the small road furthest to the left and reach a crossroads. Cross Rue des Poiriers, continue straight ahead and carry on to the next road on the left (Chemin du Fief).

(7) Ignore this road on the left, head right, and continue for 100 m past Rue du Milieu. Turn right onto it for 70 m, then climb left up Chemin du Champ du Pont. When you reach number 5 on the right, turn immediately right onto a wide grassy path (not shown on the IGN map), which leads to a road.

(8) Head up to the left until you reach the next crossroads. Cross over and head down the path opposite for about 400 m. Turn left, ignoring the next path on the left, then continue to the four-way crossroads. Turn left and then join Rue Ferrée.

(9) Turn right onto Rue Ferrée and follow it for about 200 m, then take the next street on the left (Rue des Concises Legouge), ignore the next street on the right and head back to the starting point via the right-hand side (S/E).
