The parish walk and the Poteau

The start is at a gravel car park between the cemetery and the D955.

(S/E) Walk a few metres to Rue de l'Église. Head down to the right, then continue to the bottom where you’ll reach a T-junction. Head down to the left along Rue Piolée, then continue to the next small road on the left.

(1) Follow this for 20 metres, then head up the path opposite, which joins the D955 at the top. Cross the road with great care, first turning left then right, then head up to reach the next path on the right.

(2) Head up to the right until you reach a four-way junction. Go down to the left for 150 m, then left again, continuing downhill until you reach another four-way junction (elevation 119). Continue straight on to reach a T-junction at the high-voltage power lines

(3) Head left, then, a little further on, take the next path on the right which leads to Route de Longueron. Cross it, then head right for about 300 m.

(4) Ignore the wide path opposite, continue along the road to the left, then take the next path on the left which leads, a little further on, to a T-junction.

(5) Turn left, then, a little further on, reach another T-junction. Turn right and come out onto the D182, without crossing it.

(6) Turn left, then shortly afterwards join the D955. Cross it with great care, then continue straight ahead along a grassy track. 300 m further on, turn left and carry on to the end (sewage treatment plant on the right).

(7) Continue straight on along a small road. Ignore the next two roads on the left and continue straight on until you reach a three-way junction. Turn right onto Rue du Pilori and continue for about 70 metres until you reach a three-way junction. Turn left for 20 metres, then turn left up Rue de l’Église to reach the starting point at the top (S/E).
