Description of the walk

The route starts at Place Thierry Ruby, opposite the church.

(S/E) Opposite the church, go down the steps on the right, then turn left onto Rue Saint-Martin. Follow it to the end. Turn right onto Rue de l’Âne Vert and walk for 20 metres.

(1) Head left along Ruelle du Leat du Moulin for 20 metres, then turn left up Boulevard du Midi, taking the left-hand path between the trees, and join the Route d’Auxerre. Cross it carefully, then head up the road opposite to the next junction.

(2) Turn right at a 45° angle onto Rue de la Croix Cassée, then take the next road on the left. At the next junction, turn right onto a wide path and rejoin the street you left earlier. Continue straight on until the end.

(3) Continue straight ahead along a track, then take the next track on the left, until you reach a four-way crossroads. Turn left and you will come to another four-way crossroads. Continue straight ahead until you come out onto a small road. Follow it straight ahead for 20 metres.

(4) Turn right onto a path, then shortly afterwards you’ll come out onto Rue Marcel Brault. Follow it to the left until you reach the roundabout. Go round the roundabout on the left, then take thesecond exit. Follow it for twenty metres.

(5) Leave the road heading left, take the track opposite and continue to the four-way junction. Turn left, then shortly afterwards you’ll come to a small gravel road (Chemin de Neuilly). Just after that, ignore a track on the right, then continue straight on until the next junction.

(6) Turn right, and as soon as the road bends to the left, leave it and take the path opposite. Ignore the next one on the right. Go straight up until you reach a T-junction further on.

(7) Head left until you reach the D 955. Cross it with great care, then head straight ahead along Rue du Moulin until you reach the next path on the left.

(8) Take the path on the left, then take the next one on the right, then, shortly afterwards, follow it to the left, and continue straight on until you reach the first houses.

(9) Go left for 70 metres, then turn right, crossing the footbridge over the River Tholon, and shortly afterwards you will come out onto a road. Turn right onto Allée du Moulin Brûlé until you reach the next crossroads.

(10) Continue straight on along Rue des Forges, ignoring Rue du Puits on the left just after. Shortly afterwards, cross Rue du Lavoir and continue straight on to the crossroads. Turn left for 20 metres along Rue de la Halle, then take the pedestrian crossing on the right which leads onto Rue des Ponts. Cross this street, then head straight ahead to reach Place Thierry Ruby (S/E).
