La balade béonaise et la Vallée de Chaillot

The route starts in the car park opposite the school on Rue de la Fontaine.

(S/E) Head due south along Rue de la Fontaine. At the next junction, turn left and continue uphill to another junction. Turn sharply right onto the steep road leading uphill (Chemin de Chaume Ronde) until the end of the road. Continue along a track for a few dozen metres.

(1) Take the^first path on the right. Head south and you’ll come to a road. Go up it on the left. Shortly afterwards, it becomes a wide path. Follow it to the^second path on the left, which leads into the woods.

(2) Turn left and shortly afterwards you’ll reach a road. Turn left onto this road. Take the next path on the right.

(3) At the T-junction, turn left until you reach a road. Cross it and follow it to the right. Cross the D943 with care and head straight on along Rue de l’Église. Pass this building on your left.

(4) Continue straight on, passing the cemetery on your right. Follow this road to the corner of the cemetery. Turn left and continue to the next four-way junction. Continue straight on to reach another four-way junction.

(5) Turn left onto a wide path until you reach another four-way junction shortly afterwards. Continue straight on until you reach the D943. Cross this road with great care and head straight ahead along Rue de la Cour d’en Haut until the next path on the left.

(6) Ignore this path on the left. Continue straight ahead, then take the next road on the left, called Rue des Bourguignons. Ignore the Impasse des Bourguignons on the left 150 metres further on and continue straight ahead until you reach the entrance to the recycling centre on the left.

(7) Turn left and enter the park. Take the^first path on the right. Follow it until you reach a cross path opposite the signposts on the D943. Turn right and return to the starting point (S/E).
