Start: To get to the start, cross the border at Béhobie and take the N-121A towards Pamplona (Iruña in Basque). After 12 Km, exit at Lesaka and turn right onto the NA-4000 towards Lesaka and Oiartzun. The road passes by the lake. Parking is in front of the Ola Berri restaurant.
(S/E) Go back a few dozen metres on the restaurant access road and take the first left-hand path marked White and Red. This is a section of the GR®11 that joins a cement road.
(1) Cross the road, pass under the power line and climb north along the ridge line to the summit.
(2) Continue north and descend through the grass. The path is not really marked out. Take a few switchbacks to reach the edge of the wooded area, where you'll find a path to continue north until you come to a carriage road.
(3) Turn left onto the carriage road, which forks first.
(4) Take the left-hand hairpin bend at the crow's feet, the path twists and turns several times, then follows the contours along a stream and finally crosses the stream to rejoin the cemented GR®11.
(5) Turn left onto the GR®11 which leads up to the lake.
(6) Cross over to the sidewalk of the N-4000 and continue on the GR®11 towards the Hermitage of San Antón on the lakeshore.
(7) Turn left towards the Ola Berri restaurant and reach the parking area (S/E).
