To reach the starting point, then the border at Béhobie, take the N121-A towards Iruña (Pamplona), exit onto the NA-4020 towards Igantzi Arantza and follow the signs for Igantzi.
(S/E) Leave the car park heading north-west, turn left onto Latsaga Karrika, then left again onto Karrika Nagusia. After the La Valla inn, turn right and walk alongside the pelota court.
(1) Turn left twice, heading south, until you reach the NA-4020 road; turn right towards Harrobi Cantera and continue for about thirty metres.
(2) Turn left onto the signposted path which runs alongside the road to the San Juan Xar cave.
(3) Continue south-west along this path, which leads onto a road near a beautiful old house (Aranibar Jauregia).
(4) Take the road on the right heading south-west until you reach the first Fork in the road.
(5) Follow the left-hand branch downhill.
(6) Ignore the path on the left – which will be the return route – and carry on straight ahead to a large farm building.
(7) Cross the road and take the path straight ahead which climbs towards the village of Arantza.
(8) Turn left towards the north-east onto the NA-4020 road.
(9) Before the slight bend to the right, take the path branching off to the left.

(5) Continue to the right.
(4) Take the path on the left.
(2) Turn right towards the T-junction and turn left at the junction onto a signposted path which makes a hairpin bend and heads north back to the village.
(1) Follow the same route as on the way there to return to the car park (S/E).
