From the town centre and Quai de la Banquière (Route de Levens), take Chemin de la Lombardie. At the intersection with Chemin Camille Gas, park on the right in the municipal car park (free at weekends and on public holidays).
(S/E) Follow the paved Chemin Camille Gas for a few metres. Turn right at the wooden sign for "chemin rural n°6 - Chemin de la Lombardie".
The Provençal vegetation of olive trees, fig trees, pines, oaks and cypresses immediately greets you with a beautiful view of the village of Falicon.
(1) At the gate of the retirement home, turn right (signposted C.R.6). Walk along the fence and then climb the slope via a wooden log staircase. Count 10 then 35 steps and turn right (landmark: a double notch on a tree on the right). Follow this narrow, unmarked wooded path, crossing several ditches.
(2) At the intersection of the track, turn right and descend to the valley, then climb back up towards the village of Falicon.
(3) Two-thirds of the way down the slope, leave the tarmac road and continue along the path until you reach the road. Follow it to the right for about 300 metres, then take a path downhill to the right. You will rejoin the Esquié path.
(4) Make a slight left/right turn to take the cement path downhill and follow it down. When you reach the hairpin bend, continue straight ahead on the unmarked, paved slanting street through the woods, bordered by a cliff. Pass an abandoned house and then, at the intersection of tracks, continue straight ahead.
(5) At the cemetery, continue straight ahead (eastwards), passing between the tennis court on the left and the fence overlooking the cemetery on the right. Go down the wooden steps, walk alongside the municipal swimming pool to reach the Quai de la Banquière car park (Route de Nice à Levens).
At this point, turn right. Shortly after the church, just before the roundabout, turn right onto Chemin de la Lombardie to return to the municipal car park (S/E).
