(S/R) Start from the D12 Route d’Arfons. Park in the car park on the left.
(1) Take the first path on the right.
(2) Pass through the village of La Montagnarié, where you turn left. Continue on, past the Moulin du Baylou, and carry on along the stream to the Chapel of Mougnès.
(3) Retrace your steps, turn right at the signpost, and head up to the D12 road.
(4) Just before this road, veer left and take the path that runs almost parallel to the road (more pleasant than the tarmac).
(5) Turn right and head up the path to join the road. Walk back 20 metres, cross the road (take care) and begin the steep climb to reach the impressive statue of Saint-Stapin on the left.
(6) Retrace your steps, climb up opposite to reach the ridge, and pass the Saint-Chipoli marker overlooking the quarry.
(7) Carry on along the ridge, keeping the quarry on your right, and reach the next marker.
(8) Head down into the woods and join a road that winds its way through fields. Pass the turn-off to the hamlet of En Albouy on your left and, at a hairpin bend, leave the road and take a path to the left (close the gate behind you).
(9) Take a wide path to the left to reach the ‘désert de Saint-Ferréol’ and La Capelette.
(10) The descent towards Dourgne continues behind the chapel, following the yellow markings.
(11) Ignore the path on the left and continue along thePR®® until you rejoin Rue du Barry.
(12) Turn left and head south; at the Fork in the road, turn right onto Allée Mère Marie Cronier.
(13) Take the small path on the left which runs between the houses and rejoins Avenue du Marais. Turn left and return to your starting point (S/E).
