- Park in Fontain Route du Fort, small car park on the left at the wash house.
(S/E) Head towards the town hall along the road, staying on it and following the yellow and blue markings.
(1) Before the road descends, take the path on the left, indicated by a stone on the ground and a yellow and blue mark on a tree. Stay on the right-hand side of the path to come out onto a road. Continue straight ahead, following the blue turn sign.
(2) Continue along the road until you reach a crossroads.
(3) There, turn left towards the Chapelle des Buis. Continue along the road until you reach the path on the right with the yellow and blue and red and yellow signs.
(4) On the path, there are several signposts. Turn left onto the large Fontain circular loop via the path that goes uphill. At the end of this path, turn right and cross the bridge to reach Notre-Dame de la Libération.
(5) After visiting the site, go straight down the road to reach the Chapelle des Buis.
(6) At the crossroads, turn left, then right onto Chemin des Mercureaux, following the yellow and blue signs. Stay on the road.
(7) On leaving the village of Les Mercureaux, turn right onto the Mercureaux walking route, signposted in green. Continue along the path through the woods, which runs alongside a stream.
(8) Pass under the Mercureaux railway bridge and arrive in the village of Maillot. Continue straight ahead until you reach the first bridge on the left towards Rue Euvrard.
(9) Cross and follow the yellow and blue signs. Go through the woods and then across the fields along the path until you reach a road.
(10) At the road, turn right and continue for about 200 metres until you see some wooden steps on the left. Take these steps and follow the path to exit the village of Fontain.
(11) There, turn left and go down the road to pass in front of the church and arrive at the starting point (S/E).
