Accessible from the Puichéric road, the port of La Redorte and Avenue du Port offer a few parking spaces.
(S/E) From the port, take Avenue du Port, leaving the café-restaurant on your left.
At the beginning of the avenue, on the right, the small passageway through the nurseries leads to Rue des Pépinières. At the end of this street, cross the RD11. Walk along the cemetery on your right for about 50 metres and cross the car park on your left, slightly uphill. At the end of the car park, go up the path and walk along the east side of the cemetery wall. After about 100 metres, take the Chemin du Pech Saint-Jean on the left, which goes downhill.
(1) Just before the path turns left, there is a flattened platform on the right. From there, a narrow path leads in the opposite direction. Take this path. After about 200 metres, it is lined with magnificent olive trees and overlooks another path below on the left.
At the end of the path, you will see the Canal du Midi.
(2) Turn left onto the canal bridge that crosses the Argent Double River, then follow the towpath to the pretty little bridge over the canal.
(3) Cross the bridge over the canal and continue straight ahead until you reach the Dairy Farm du Bois, which you will go around on the left. Continue along the tarmac path to reach the small lake.
(4) Before the small lake, turn right and follow the bank of the Argent Double.
(5) After about 350 metres, cross the river on the old bridge opposite the spillway. When you reach the canal on the left, cross the spillway and then go under the bridge that supports the RD11. The towpath leads to the bridge after the port of La Redorte (opposite bank). Go up onto this bridge and cross it.
Once you reach the other side, there is a passageway on your right that takes you back down to the port.
(S/E) Return to the starting point to complete the circular.
