The walk starts at the Senlisse cemetery car park.
(S/E) Walk down Chemin de Malvoisine. At the bottom, turn right onto Rue du Champ Reine. At the end of the street, turn right onto Rue du Moulin d'Aulne. Before a left-hand bend, turn right onto a path that is closed to horses and motorbikes.
(1) Before a forest barrier, turn left onto a fairly steep path. At the T-junction, turn right and continue climbing.
(2) Cross the Route forestière de la Côte Brûlée (sign indicating hunting days on Fridays). Continue straight ahead (the path may be muddy) until you reach the cultivated plateau. Ignore the paths on the right and pass a nursery on your right. At the end of a field, first turn left then right (Regional Nature Park marker). Walk downhill along a wall on your left.
(3) Turn left to continue following the wall. You will come out onto the D906; follow it for about 100 metres. Take thefirst right, Rue de la Maison Forte, and enter Choisel. Cross Rue des Sources on the right-hand side and pass in front of the former presbytery where the writer Michel Tournier lived. Continue straight on until you reach the roundabout where one of the gates to the Château de Breteuil park is located.
(4) Turn right onto Rue de la Grange aux Moines and pass a community bar called La Maison d'Ingrid (Ingrid Bergman lived there).
Cross the hamlet of La Ferté.
(5) At a fork, turn right onto Route du Bel Air. You will come out onto the D906 again and follow it to the left.
(6) Take thefirst right and follow it to Haras de la Malvoisine.
(7) At the foot of the buildings, turn right and enter the forest. Pass two paths on the right, then take the next right. Cross the Route forestière de la Côte brûlée and descend. At the crossroads, take the path on the right leading down to the cemetery car park (S/E).
