Parking is available at the Refuge du Hahnenbrunnen car park located at the pass of the same name on the Route des Crêtes.
Markings: Blue disc, then red-white-red rectangle.
(S/E) At the end of the car park, take the path (blue disc) which crosses a pasture before entering a pretty beech forest and joining the D27 road.
(1) Cross over and continue straight ahead, following the blue disc markings that lead to the summit of Lauchenopf at 1,314 metres. Enjoy the 360° view before continuing on to Nonselkopf.
(2) Here again, you can admire the natural environment in which you are walking. After a pleasant descent, go to the crossroads that indicates Uff Rain (red-white-red rectangle).
(3) Turn left towards Uff Rain. Continuing slightly downhill, cross the road and stroll through the large stubble field around Uff Rain, where you may wish to stop for a break.
(4) Turn left. The walk continues to the Ferme Auberge de Salzbach, which you will pass on your right below, but where you can stop for a break.
(5) Continue along the path that crosses the stubble field and then joins a beech forest, after a short climb followed by a slight descent. At the edge of the forest, you will find the Hahnenbrunnen stubble field and then the Hahnenbrunnen car park (S/E).
