Start from the car park “reserved for anglers” opposite the Étang d’Ouroux-en-Morvan.
(S/E) Head towards the pond. Cross Avenue Michel Baroin to reach the grassy path running alongside the pond.
(1) Turn right onto the wooden jetty to explore the wetlands bordering the lake. Beyond the walkway, take the time to discover the various plant communities, not forgetting the extension of the jetty on your left leading to a wet meadow. Retrace your steps.
Continue along the path, taking in the small jetties and their built-in deckchairs, perfect for enjoying the view of the pond. Then head into the forest to reach the village of Ouroux-en-Morvan. As you leave the wetland, turn right onto Rue de la Croix de la Mission and follow it up to the church; go round the church to the left via Rue du Marché and then Rue du Commerce.
Turn left onto Rue de Pargon.
(2) At the junction, turn right onto Avenue Alexis Guetrot. Shortly afterwards, turn left onto Rue le Bourg, which becomes a narrow path leading to an old wash house.
(3) Continue on to reach the car park at the starting point (S/E).
