Description of the walk

Park in the car park at the end of Rue de la Gare in Chanteloup. Please note that the car park is in a blue zone, so display your parking disc. According to local residents, no one comes to check. However, there are parking spaces on Rue des Loups and you can start the walk shortly after this point (1).

(S/E) Take the path on the left. It winds its way behind the École du Loupiot school.

(1) Cross Route du Moulin Boursier carefully at the pedestrian crossing and take Promenade Buissonnière opposite. Cross Rue des Loups carefully and follow Allée Forestière des Charmes opposite until you reach the edge of the woods.

(2) Turn onto the first path on the left, Chemin de l'Orée du Bois, then turn right onto the next path, Allée de Conches. Continue to the first crossroads.

(3) Turn right onto Avenue de Strasbourg, cross Avenue du Bois de Chigny carefully, then continue along Avenue de l'Empereur for about 100 metres.

(4) Turn left onto a barely visible road and cross Avenue Napoléon carefully before leaving the woods.

(5) Turn left, then carefully cross a roundabout-type junction at the pedestrian crossing and continue straight on along Avenue de Lagny until you reach Avenue de la Glacière.

(6) Turn left, then take the last path on the left before leaving the woods. Follow this path behind the buildings until you reach a dead end.

(7) Turn right and then immediately left onto Avenue Jean Mermoz, then turn right onto Route de Tournan and turn left into the second lane, Allée du Beauvallon. Continue to the end.

(8) Turn right onto Ruelle Binette, then at the end of this lane, turn left and join Chemin du Châtelet.

(9) Turn left, then take a detour along a path to see the Gondoire river and return to the path. Follow the Gondoire on your right, cross Rue du Fort du Bois and continue straight ahead along Ruelle Sainte-Jeanne until you reach the river.

(10) Walk along the river, pass behind the Haras des Sources, leave the banks of the Gondoire and rejoin Ruelle Sainte-Jeanne, which you follow for about a hundred metres.

(11) Cross Route de Tournan carefully at the pedestrian crossing and take thefirst path on the right that runs alongside Route de Tournan. Follow this path until you reach the Gondoire and come out on Avenue de la Jonchère.

(12) Turn left and follow this avenue on the pavement, passing a roundabout and ignoring a crossroads. You will arrive at Rue de la Gare.

(13) Turn left and arrive at the car park (S/E).
