Coming from the Pont de Brotonne bridge, at the exit of Saint-Nicolas de Bliquetuit, turn left onto the RD40 until you reach the entrance to the forest. Park at the exit of the hamlet on Rue de l'Orée du Bois.
(S/E) Cross the RD40 and turn onto Rue Nicolle. After 200 metres, turn left onto Chemin des Pilotes.
(1) Turn left onto the paved road, which continues as a dirt track.
(2) Do not enter the forest; instead, follow the path on the right-hand side (heritage trail).
(3) At the crossroads of the four paths, marked by a fire hazard sign, turn left to enter and go deeper into the forest. To do this, take Chemin de la Brèche de l'Église. After 300 metres, ignore the path on the left, then continue straight ahead at the next crossroads.
(4) At the crossroads 100 metres before the forest exit (Maison Forestière du Quesney), follow Chemin aux Lapins to the left for 1 km. At the right-angle crossroads, go up Route Forestière au Blaireau on the left.

(5) At the large six-way crossroads, take the first track on the right and follow it to the D40. Cross it and continue in the same direction for 500 metres. This is the Route de la Tranchée de Six Mètres. Join the single-way crossroads on the left.
(6) Turn left onto the dirt track, then the grassy track, and at the end continue to the right along an embankment for 500m.
(7) Cross the embankment on the left at the point where it leads to a clear path. Behind this embankment is an old stone marker. Follow this path straight ahead for 1 km.
(8) At the three-way junction, keep right, passing in front of a marker leaning to one side. At the edge of the forest, turn left onto Rue de l'Orée du Bois.
Just after the water tower, you will arrive at the picnic area (S/E).
