To reach the start point, head towards the village of Ravilloles. Walk through the village towards Les Crozets.
Walk past the town hall and turn onto the small road on the right towards the lake. The entrance to the lake is in the bend; this is where you’ll find the car park.
(S/E) Head north-east along the left bank of Lake Ravilloles. You are on a section of theGR®9. Continue to the far end of the lake.
(1) Leave theGR®9and continue north-east along the yellow-marked path until you reach the D118.
(2) Cross the road and continue along the path signposted towards the Belvédère de la Sourde. Stay on the yellow-marked trail. Head to the Belvédère de la Sourde.
(3) Continue along the path towards Leschères. At the junction with the Route forestière de la Sourde, turn right towards Leschères, and you will come to a Y-shaped crossroads.
(4) Leave the path to Leschères on your right and follow the signs for the Belvédère de la Colonne. Pass the viewpoint and continue to the D146, following the yellow markings.
(5) Cross the D146 to take the path heading south-east towards Angelon and the Belvédère du Capet. Reach the hamlet of Angelon. Continue south along the road until the bend at the end of the hamlet, arriving at the Fontaine à Pochon.
(6) Turn right to reach an area that has been listed as one of the most beautiful soundscapes in the Haut-Jura.
(7) Return to the previous crossroads.
(6) Take the yellow-marked path on the right to reach the Belvérère du Capet.
(8) Continue through the woods to rejoin the D146E2.
(9) Follow it to the right for a few metres, then turn right onto theGR®9. Begin a long descent and join the D118. Cross it to return to the original junction.
(1) Follow the route you took on the way out in the opposite direction to return to the lake car park (S/E).
