Eberbach (rivière) walks

This route invites you to (re)discover the undivided forest throughout the seasons: enjoy a variety of flora all year round, among landscapes that vary between deciduous and coniferous trees, in the heart of young and older stands.

Combine sport, well-being, conviviality and discovery of nature in the Forêtd’Exception® ( Exceptional Forest) on this trail dedicated to Nordic walking. You will walk through different stands of deciduous and coniferous trees, offering you a complete change of scenery near the Gros-Chêne site.

Discover some of the remarkable trees in the undivided forest. Unique in terms of their size, age, history, originality and shape, they are part of the natural and cultural heritage of the Haguenau Forest, to which they give its identity.

This cycle route will take you through varied landscapes, between pine and oak trees, to discover some of the riches of the undivided forest of Haguenau. You will walk through the heart of this forest, which was awarded the Forêtd'Exception® label in January 2020, and along the way you can enjoy its lakes and be surprised by its legends and heritage.

This trail takes you on a journey of discovery through the wetlands of the undivided forest. You will cross the meandering streams of the Eberbach, Halbmuelbach and Sauer, observe birds at the Brunnwald bird observatory and walk in the footsteps of potters in Betschdorf and Soufflenheim.

Set off to explore the eastern part of the Haguenau Forest by cycling from the pottery village of Soufflenheim to Gros Chêne on a circular mountain bike trail.
