Departure from the car park of the church in Thou.
(S/E) Leaving the car park, turn left onto Route de Surgères (D112).
(1) At the crossroads, turn left and then left again towards Landrais, Déchetterie, on Rue de la Justice.
(2) After No. 28, turn right onto a small tarmac road between two hedges. At the end of the road, turn left onto Rue des Brandettes (D205E2) then, 250 metres further on, take the first left, which leads back to Rue de la Justice. Turn right and continue for about ten metres.
(3) Turn left onto a gravel path. Pass the green shed with the orange roof on your left and continue straight ahead on the same path. Walk alongside a wood and continue straight ahead between fields and copses. Walk alongside another small wood to reach a crossroads.
(4) Turn right between two woods onto a small, formerly tarmac road and continue straight ahead towards the wind turbines.
(5) Just after the farm in the hamlet of Saint-Gilles, turn left and then take the first right until you reach the junction with the D208. At the junction, turn left onto the D208. At the Les Égaux de Chambon sign, leave the road on the left and continue on the departmental road.
(6) In the hamlet, take the first left, Rue du Puits, which crosses the village to the left and then to the right (west then north). You will arrive at Rue de la Pointe. Turn left to leave the village.
(7) A little over 150 metres further on, after a path leading to a farm, opposite three large oak trees, turn left and continue straight ahead until you reach a small wood about 8 km from the start.
(8) Leave the main path that branches off to the right and continue straight ahead into the woods towards Les Chaumes. At the edge of the woods, at a place called Les Chaumes, continue along Rue des Pierrières, which will take you back to the village of Le Thou on Rue de la Justice.
(9) Turn right and follow the starting route to the church (right, right at the end) (S/E).
