(S) From the Usciolu refuge, return to the ridge via Bocca di Suragheddu.
(1) Continue along the ridge towards the south-west. Leave the link to Cozzano on your right. This section includes a few small, impressive passages, but nothing particularly dangerous. Follow the ridge closely, staying as high as possible. TheGR® passes through the highest point of this ridge, Punta di a Scadatta (1,836 m).
(2) Then, continuing in the same direction along the ridge, descend towards the trees. The trail then crosses a slightly flatter area with a spring on the right. Then descend further to reach Bocca di l'Agnone.
(3). Leave the link to Zicavo on your right.
Once you have passed the pass, you will arrive at the Cuscionu plateau, the largest in Corsica (7,000 ha). Follow the markings carefully, which will take you through pozzines, a small stream, small beech woods and clearings. Another path branches off to your right, also leading to Zicavo. Continue following the markings and cross the river using the suspension bridge.
(4) Once on the other side of the river, the path climbs up to a small plateau where the old I Pedinieddi refuge used to be, with a spring nearby.
The path climbs along a small valley to reach the small pass above, the Col de Luana (1,805 m).
(5) From the pass, follow the ridge on your right, which climbs southwards to Monte Incudine (2,134 m).
(6) Descend south-west via Bocca Stazzunara.
(7) Turn left onto a small traverse along the mountainside and finally descend to the Asinao Refuge (E).
Be careful, the descent is very steep and quite long, even though you can see the refuge from the start.
