Climb the wooden steps on the right to look down on the ria where the small port is nestled. Continue along a small road towards the ruins of the old fish cannery. It overlooks the Malachappe sea wall, which ends with a small red lighthouse.
(1) Reach the coastal path and continue along it.
(2) Pass the first car park and continue along the path along the coastline in a north-westerly direction. It goes around several coves and is bordered by moorland. From the beginning of May, carpets of sea thrift bloom all along this wild stretch of coast.
Take a small path to reach the entrance to the Île Percé campsite and continue for about 100 m to the Trenez Beach car park.
(3) Opposite, there is a beautiful view of Île Percée, which is accessible via a ford. The piers of the old bridge still remain. It was built during the last war by the Germans to access the island's blockhouse.

(6) Continue along the grassy path between the fields. At the three-way junction, turn right and follow the road until you reach a bridge.
(7) Cross it and continue straight ahead towards the village of Trélazec, where you follow the road to the right. At the first fork, leave a path on the right and reach a crossroads at a place called Kerdévot.
(8) Turn left onto the small road that leads to the magnificent stopover lodge "Steren ar Mor", which was built to accommodate hikers onthe GR®34 trail. Go around it on the left and continue north on the lane through the woods. It turns right near a stream, which you keep on your left. You will reach a small road near some houses used to store old caravans and other vehicles. Look for an old bread oven on your left. Continue until you reach the junction with the D216.
(9) Cross it carefully and take the path on the left that runs along the right side of the estuary. At the end of this cove, old wooden sardine boats are spending their final days in a moving marine cemetery. Continue along this path below the road. It ends at a wooden staircase leading to the D16 and the port car park (S/E).
