Access: From the village of Moëlan-sur-Mer, head towards Kerfany-les-Pins. At the traffic lights in the village of Kergroës, turn right towards the port of Belon. Park in the port car park.
GR34: Red and White
(S/E) From the car park, retrace your steps along the road. Just under 200 metres further on, look for the sign indicating the coastal path and the chapel: follow this path to the left along Lanriot cove.
(1) A marker at the crossroads indicates the way up to the Notre-Dame de Lanriot chapel: leave the marked trail for a moment and follow this path to the right. After visiting the chapel (if it is open), return to the coastal path.
(1) Follow the coastal path to the right and you will come to a footbridge.
PR®: Yellow
(2) Cross the footbridge and, immediately afterwards, turn right to climb about fifty steps and find yourself on the road. Head east with caution, as there is vehicle traffic.
(3) Turn left onto a path by the large pine tree and walk between the houses to reach Kermeur Wood. A few metres from the entrance to the path, a sign prohibiting all vehicles will reassure you that you are going in the right direction. Continue to the small footbridge over the stream, then climb up towards the village of Kermeur Braz.
(4) Pass the well and, at the crossroads, turn left (north) towards Kermeur Bihan. In the village, when the road makes a 90° turn to the left, make a 90° turn to the right and walk along the sunken path.
(5) At the crossroads, turn left and walk along a row of stones. Follow this path, which runs alongside a chestnut grove. After a wide bend to the right, the path descends gently. Just before a large stone in the middle of the path, a marker indicates a path on the left. Follow this path without hesitation.
PR®: Yellow +GR®34: Red and White
(6) At the crossroads, take a short detour to the right to see the Sainte-Thumette fountain, then return to the path.
(6) Continue downhill towards the Sainte-Thumette cove (north-west). At the hiking information sign, turn left. Follow the markings. You are now on theGR®34and walking alongside the Belon river. On the other bank, you will see the Saint-Léger chapel in Riec-sur-Belon.
(7) At L'Éperon (a large rock overlooking the river), you will see Anse de Penmor opposite. Continue south-west on theGR®34.
(8) At the red buoy, turn left onto the path leading to the Kermeur Bihan covered walkway (signposted). After about 150 metres, you will find the covered walkway on your left (a beautiful Neolithic relic accompanied by two magnificent oak trees).
(9) Retrace your steps back to the buoy.
(8) Turn left onto the coastal path that veers south-east. Go around a small cove, where you will see the remains of a few fishing boats. Continue south along the cove and pass the fountain at Lanriot cove, just after a large fallen pine tree that forces you to duck your head (for how long?). Further on, at the end of another small cove, you will cross a footbridge over a wash house (?) or at least a water reservoir. Further on, there is another small boat graveyard.
(2) Cross the footbridge you took on the way there and turn right.
(1) Continue north along the path you took at the start of the walk, and you will return to the harbour car park (S/E).
