Park in the Parc de Lorient car park in Montéléger. This park is located along the D261 between Valence (Route de Crest) and Montéléger.
(S/E) Leave the car park by going down the stairs and then take the path on the right. Wind your way through the park with games for children. With a bit of luck, you may spot some squirrels.
(1) When you reach the Véore River, take the path on the right and walk along the river on your left.
(2) Pass the confluence of the Véore and Pétochi rivers and continue until you reach the Beauvallon bridge.
The path is very green and you can hear lots of birds.
(3) Cross the bridge on the left and follow the D111 until you reach the bend, where you cross over to the Place du Marché.
(4) Cross the Place du Marché towards the Montée du Château, turn left towards the Route du Lavoir, then right to reach the entrance to the Parc du Lac de Beauvallon.
(5) Walk around the lake and admire the ducks, carp and beautiful park. Join Route de Montéléger.
(6) Follow it to the left.
(4) Retrace your steps, cross the bridge and continue along the Véore.
(2) Pass the confluence of the Véore and Pétochin rivers again and continue.
(1) Continue along the river until you reach a road.
(7) Turn left onto the path that leads to Lorient Park and its car park (S/E).
