Departure from the car park next to the Brévilliers cemetery.
(S/E) Head towards the football pitch, go through the gate to the sports ground and exit on the right, along the stream. Follow the path along the stream and then go around the lagoons on the left. At the end of the ponds, go up to the left on the stone path and then to the right for a few dozen metres.
(1) Take the fairly steep path that climbs to the left into the forest. This path leads above the village to the small tarmac road that you need to join.
(2) At the crossroads, turn right (do not follow the sign for the dolmen), continue for a few minutes on the gently ascending road, cross the undergrowth and arrive at a farm. From here, you can see Lomont and its wind turbines to the south-west and Chasseral directly in line with the road.
(3) Below the farm, at the fork, take the path that climbs up to the left through the fields (GR®5white-red markings).
At the top of the hill, under the oak tree, there is a bench where you can take a break and enjoy the view of Switzerland.
This path leads back to the top of the village towards another farm.
(4) At the crossroads, turn right and follow the sign for "dolmen".
(5) After the dolmen, continue along the path at the edge of the forest until you reach another forest path.
(6) Continue to the left and follow it back to the village. Take Rue de l'École and head to Place de la Fontaine.
(7) Continue straight ahead and turn right before the town hall. Follow Grande Rue to return to the car park next to the cemetery (S/E).
great hike with lovely views.
