What could be better than a short climb through the shade before taking a dip in the ever-welcoming Caribbean Sea? That’s what this hike offers, with some magnificent views of the sea, an 18th-century military ruin and a finish on the superb Grande Anse beach.

Naca Waterfall is situated on the ravine of the same name in the Muraille area of the commune of Sainte-Rose. The challenging route to reach this waterfall consists, in the first part, of a forest walk through vanilla plantations and past gigantic acomats; in the second part, of a water trek to discover the waterfalls and beautiful pools of this river; and finally, of the grand 30-metre waterfall.

Starting from the Beausoleil picnic area at the foot of La Soufrière, this waterfall is located between the Trace Delgrès and Rivière Noire. Start at the Trace Delgrès to discover this unique, fairly high waterfall. On the way back, take a detour to the first Rivière Noire pool for a superb reward.

A demanding hike on the slopes of La Soufrière, combining volcanoes, spectacular landscapes and historical discovery with the DC-3 wreck. The section leading to the wreck is the most complicated, very muddy and technical, requiring balance and endurance, while the rest of the route is more accessible. This hike is not suitable for non-athletes or those unaccustomed to challenging terrain, but it offers incredible views and unique memories for those who dare to venture there.

Climb the Vieille Dame via the traditional route and return via the Col de l'Échelle, then finish the hike with a nice hot bath at the Bains Jaunes. Please note that a large section of this route is currently closed due to the risk of rockfalls and increased volcanic activity.

This hike takes you to La Soufrière, the highest point in Guadeloupe and a dormant volcano. In good weather, the view is magnificent. At the summit, you can truly appreciate the power that lies beneath your feet. Take a refreshing dip at the foot of the Galion waterfall before tackling the climb up the Armistice trail towards the cistern. Please note that this hike takes around 4 hours.

This trail is not very well known. It is located in the commune of Capesterre-Belle-Eau. It will take you through banana fields before descending to the Sainte-Marie River at a beautiful pool, which you will walk up a little way as it is very pretty, then on to Ravine Zombi. Then, retrace your steps and continue down the river to discover the two Zombi waterfalls, recognisable by the two vertical tree trunks that have been there for years. You can take a much quieter lunch break in front of them.

A walk through the tropical forest and, after a long effort, you will be rewarded at the foot of the two 100-metre-high waterfalls.

A short hike through the rainforest to admire the last Carbet waterfall, which plunges into a large pool and invites you to take a dip.

In Capesterre, a site that is not yet well known but is so original, waterfalls cascade onto the black sand beach that glistens in the sun. There is spectacular access along a cliff on a narrow path, but don't panic if you're afraid of heights, as it is possible to go around the other side, which is like a canyon equipped with ropes. The place is magnificent.
