(2) Immediately after the tower, you will reach the listed St. Anna Chapel. Turn right there into Kapellengasse and walk straight ahead along the cemetery wall.
(3) You will reach "Römerstraße" and see the Jupiter Gigantensäule on the opposite side, a relic from the Roman Empire and a symbol of the Roman-Germanic cult of gods.
Continue to the left and turn into Katzental street opposite the Intersport sports shop. Follow this street to the end and then climb the steep stairs. At the top, turn right and walk along Mittlerer Höhenweg.
(4) Soon, the panorama of Obernburg and the Main Valley opens up on the right. Continue along the "Mittlerer Höhenweg". In a right-hand bend, you will see a narrow staircase on the right. Go down these stairs to reach "Brunnenstraße" and continue straight ahead.
Brunnenstraße becomes Juliusstraße. At the next T-junction, turn right onto Römerstraße and walk through the Untere Tor gate. After a few metres, turn left.
(5) You will see St. Peter and Paul's Church in front of you. Pass it on your right and enter the Stiftshof. Cross the Stiftshof, turn right at the end and you will reach Mainstraße. Turn left here.
The road slopes slightly downhill. Shortly after the Hotel Zum Karpfen, turn right into Untere Wallstraße. Walk along this street until you reach the Kochsmühle cabaret theatre, turn left immediately after the building and go through a wrought-iron gate.
On your right, you will pass a rose garden and see a fountain in front of you. Turn right in front of the fountain. You will pass another Jupiter Giant's Column at the car park.
(S/E) Now turn right twice and you will find yourself back at the entrance to the Roman Museum, the start and end point of your circular route.
