Free parking is available in the village square, next to the town hall. The tour starts in front of the Estourmel town hall. Follow the suggested route through the village streets and surrounding countryside.
(S/E) With your back to the town hall, head towards Awoingt, following Rue de la Victoire until you reach the turning area.
(1) Continue straight ahead through the fields. Once you have passed the Notre-Dame des Embourbées chapel, turn left towards Wambaix and continue to the crossroads at the Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle oratory.
(2) Turn left and take the tree-lined path.
(3) At the end of the road, turn left towards the village, which you will reach via Rue Jean Beauvilain. Keep left at the crossroads and continue until you reach the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Chapel, which will be on your left.
(4) Turn left at the first street after the chapel (Rue Reimbold d'Estournel). Then turn right onto Rue de l'Église to reach the feudal mound, a remnant of the old tower of the Château d'Estourmel.
(5) Continue on your way to reach the Church of Saint-Vulgan, where the recumbent statues of the Marquises of Estourmel are located. In front of it stands the Bricout Chapel, a miniature replica of the Sainte-Chapelle in Paris.
(6) Continue along the road, then turn right and go up Chemin des Écoliers. Cross Rue de la Herse and Rue des Belottes and continue to the end. Turn left to immediately join Rue du Général de Gaulle, then turn left again and continue up the road to the Notre-Dame de Lourdes Chapel.
(7) Continue along the road on your left until you reach the town hall of Estourmel.
(S/E) To continue the tour, we suggest you go up Avenue Clémenceau, the road on your right, and continue to the calvary to admire its Gothic architecture.
(8) Turn around and head back down to the Estourmel town hall, then to the car park (S/E).
