(S/E) Start in front of Collège Gabriel Séailles, Rue des Écoles. Walk alongside the school building on your left; at the stop sign, turn right, then at the second stop sign, turn left.
(1) Take the first street on the right (Rue de l’Égalité), cross Avenue du Stade and go straight on along Chemin de l’Abattoir, until you reach the banks of the River Osse.
(2) Turn left and follow the river past the sports grounds and the racecourse. In the distance on your left, you will see Gimat Castle (private). Pass the racecourse, keeping the Osse on your right.
Turn left, join the D35, and follow it to the right for about a hundred metres.
Turn right at the crossroads and go straight on.
(3) Cross the bridge, continue for 100m and turn left towards Old Marambat (steep slope). Walk past the church.
(4) Turn right, then left after about 100 metres, at a pond decorated with aquatic plants. Walk alongside the pond, go straight on, passing the cemetery on your left and the houses. Start up a natural slope that curves left then right, runs alongside a beautiful orchard and leads to the top at a place called La Cabane d’En Haut.
(5) Cross the D132 and climb up the natural path opposite. Pass under the power line and turn left into the woodland. At the end of this, you’ll reach a field; follow its edge along the edge of the woods opposite until you reach the Pété farm. Walk past the farm on the right along the grassy path that descends, then turn right under the canopy of oak trees, which will lead you to a panoramic view of Vic-Fezensac.
(6) Head downhill to reach Route de la Glacière. Follow it to the right, passing under the old railway bridge, then past the Lavoir de la Glacière.
(7) At the stop sign, continue straight ahead, passing the Chapelle de l’Armagnac on your left and then the bridge over the Osse
At the next stop sign, continue straight on along Rue de Besino. At the end of the street, turn right, then left, left again and finally straight on. You are back at your starting point (S/E).
