Park in the Port L’Epine car park.
(S/E) Turn left towards the east onto Rue Hent ar Palud, which runs alongside the restaurant.
(1) Once you have walked past the campsite, if the tide level allows, head down onto the beach and walk along it until you reach a flight of steps made of granite blocks. Otherwise, continue along the path, which becomes a road, and turn left.
(2) Follow the road to the left, then immediately take the path on the right (GR®® 34). Continue along the path, which becomes a road as it runs alongside private properties and leads to the D38 (Rue de Trestel). At the junction, turn left and head down to the beach.
(3) Cross the D38 and take the street on the right, then the first street on the left. At the right-hand bend, carry on straight ahead, then take the road on the right. At the Fork in the road, take the path to the right (not shown on the IGN map) and follow it until it joins a wider track.
(4) Just before this track, take the few steps on the right and carry on until you reach a road, which you take on the left. This is Rue du Moulin. Take the first road on the right (a hairpin bend) and then, 20 metres further on, at the left-hand bend, follow the path to the right.
(5) Then turn right to walk alongside the lake. After the lake, keep left and continue along the path. Cross the stream and, immediately afterwards, turn right; the path leads to a road.
(6) Head off to the right. Pass through the hamlet of Croaz-Hent Huellan and continue to the left. Once you reach the Camlez road (D75), follow it to the left for 20 m, then turn off to the right.
(7) Continue to the left. Cross the Kergouanton stream, keeping the lake on your left, and carry on straight ahead (some sections are very damp and difficult to see; follow the hedges on the left) along this path until it joins the Kermaria Sulard road (D73). Follow this road to the left for 200 metres.
(8) Turn onto the path on the right and follow it to the end. Once you reach the road, turn left and carry on.
(9) Take the path on the right and follow it all the way along. At the end, turn right and continue for 50 metres.
(10) Turn left (a sign points towards “Le Creyou”). When you reach the hamlet, turn left, cross the road and follow the path opposite. This leads to the Kabatous road. Take care when crossing as there is heavy traffic and poor visibility.
(11) Continue along the path opposite (a sign points to “Nantouar”). You’ll reach the Vallée des Moulins. Follow the path alongside the Ruisseau de Dourdu until you reach the Route du Vieux Moulin, which you follow to the left before turning right. The path runs alongside the road on the sea side for greater safety.
(12) Turn left onto the path signposted “Port L’Epine”. This is theGR®® 34, which heads due north and offers a beautiful view of Perros-Guirec and its bay to the left. Walk along Porz-Garo beach until you reach the alley of the same name. Continue straight on to return to the starting point (S/E).
