Parking Impasse des Vaudes.
(S/E) At the end of the cul-de-sac, turn right into Rue Neuve de l'Eglise. At the end, turn right into Rue du Belvédère.
(1) A yellow sign indicates that you should take the path that climbs to the left. Climb steeply to the north-west. Following the same direction, cross the Bois des Fontenottes on a gentler slope. Once you reach the summit, head south-west along the ridge. At a fork in the road, turn left onto the path leading down to Cave aux Loups.
(2) Go down to the south-east, ignoring a track coming from the left.
(3) Turn right onto the signposted track at the edge of the forest. Make a hairpin bend to the left and stay on the edge of the forest. Before a high-voltage power line, start to climb on the right.
(4) At a blue and white barrier, turn right. After 50m, turn left. Further on, ignore a track on the right.
(5) At the three-way junction, turn right uphill. When you reach a flat area, take a small path on the left that leads to the viewpoint (if you see a Red marker, turn back).
(6) From the viewpoint, turn right a little way back onto a small path that descends very steeply (Blue mark on the trees). Be careful on this descent. Go down to a gravel path and follow it to the left.
(7) When you reach a white bench, take the path rising slightly behind to the right. A fine climb awaits you. Turn left at a fork.
(8) At the crossroads, turn left onto the track which descends to the south and then heads south-west after passing under the high-voltage power line.
(9) Go through a barrier. After a few metres on the road, take a dirt track(be careful not the narrow track just after the barrier, a wider one where a car can pass). Go uphill and, at a T-junction, turn left. Continue uphill, heading north-east then north.
(10) At the crossroads, follow the blue signposted footpath to the left. Continue to the end of the path and then turn left to join a road.
(11) Follow the road to the right for approximately 300m.
(12) At the fork in the road, turn left up to Roche-Aigüe and retrace your steps.
(12) Continue along the grassy track to the west.
(13) At the T-junction, fork left and go down to the cave.
(14) Retrace your steps.
(13) Continue north following the blue markings. At a fork, fork right. At the next crossroads (585 m), turn left. There are 4 paths on your left.
(15) Turn right onto a faint path. This path has been destroyed by felling trees, but it is possible to cross. Further on you will see a stone milestone with a Blue marker. Continue straight ahead (east), ignoring the side paths, until you reach a steep descent. Here, take the first (wide) path on the right. Cross a path.
(16) At the next junction, turn left in a hairpin bend and descend. Further on, follow the road north for about 250m, then take the path that climbs steeply to the right.
(17) At the crossroads at the top, turn right for 30m and then left on a track that climbs. At the top, cross another track.
(18) Turn left at a hunting stand. Follow the blue markings, pass under a power line and continue north-east. At a three-way junction, turn right and head due east, ignoring all the left and right hand turn-offs.
(19) The path makes a right-left bend to return in the same direction to a grassy path. Continue north-east until you reach the ridge. Here you will see the path you took to reach the first climb. Continue along the path opposite and head due east downhill to the road. Cross the road and continue along the path.
(20) Cross the road again and follow a path with a one-way sign. Continue along Rue de Vichèvre.
(1) Follow the Rue du Belvédère, turn left at the first junction, then left again at the next junction and return to the starting point(S/E).
Otherwise, it was a very pleasant walk, with some beautiful landscapes and viewpoints. Our thighs and knees got a good workout 
As we'd made several mistakes and had to turn back, we wanted to make up for lost time by running on the flat from time to time (yes, because of the confinement, we couldn't go home after 7pm!). As a result, we were quite proud of ourselves for doing this walking tour from 12.00 to 17.30

and I continued in a straight line to the combe, past the 2 springs before returning along the blue markings (Traversée des 5 vallées).
