Start from the town hall, with your back to the war memorial.
(S/E) Take Rue Lanternier, and at the end of this street turn left onto the path that leads to Route de Dijon, which you will take on your right, then turn left into Chemin du Colombier.
(1) At Colombier, turn left onto the path leading up behind the château, which takes you to the top of the Combe du Sceau, then around it.
(2) At the triangle of paths, turn left onto the path leading down to Chapelle Saint-Louis, pass the chapel and continue down to Lantenay.
(3) When you come to a double-barrier chicane, don't head for the road, but continue along the path on your right. When you reach the D104k, keep to the right of the road. This uphill path leads to the Gouyette hunting lodge. At the end of the wood, turn left and then left again towards the road, then right for 20metres.
(4) On the D104k, turn left onto the forest track at the edge of the wood, and continue on this track for about 1km.
(5) At the white track, turn left in the direction of Fleurey-sur-Ouche, go through the gate, turn left and go downhill in the direction of the Combe d'Arvaux.
(6) At the crossroads, go ahead for about 20m on the narrow path leading to the edge of the valley, then turn right to follow the Combe d'Arvaux.
(7) Pass over the Cave aux Loups ('wolf cave') and take a path on your right that leads to the forest road. Turn left.
(8) When you reach the gate, turn left. At the end of the wood, take the path on the left and at the junction with the path leading to Combe aux Mammouths, turn right.
(9) Pass a small farm and take a small path on your left, which rises for about 100 metres and then turns right. Enter Lantenay via Chemin du Cognot. Turn right into Rue du Belvédère and then down Rue de la Cure.
(10) At the stop sign, turn right into Rue de La Croix haute, which takes you back to your starting point (S/E).
