Park near the Mélisey waste collection centre.
The trail is marked with orange horseshoe symbols and orange lines, which are equestrian trail markers.
(S/E) Pass the waste collection centre and continue straight ahead, following the horse riding and mountain biking markings. You will reach the crossroads leading to the Étang de la Noie Villerand.
(1) Turn right onto the woodland path running alongside the stream, then follow the pond. Turn left then right to reach a crossroads by a small pond. Turn left and follow the path, then continue on between two other ponds. After a short climb, you will come to a T-junction.
(2) Turn right and take the forest path. A few metres further on, you will reach another crossroads.
(3) Continue left to join the long route, following the horse riding signs. Continue along the horse riding signs to reach the hamlet of La Conche (route).
(4) Go around the house on the right. Leave the tarmac road and take the path going up to the left into the woods. Return to the tarmac road and turn right. At the 90° right-hand bend, ignore the path opposite and take the path on the left. You will come to a crossroads with four perpendicular paths.
(5) Take the road on the right, now following the yellow circle footpath markings. Stay on this path, turning right onto the path that starts after the first farm at Les Granges Baverey. Pass close to an old ruined mill with a small waterfall. Continue along this path to reach a Y-junction.
(6) Turn right onto the path, which is still marked with a yellow disc but also a green rectangle. After a muddy section, turn right towards La Hutte, cross a small ford near the pond and go around the house on the right. Walk along the Étang du Grand Rosbeck pond and then head for the Thiébaud Monument.
(7) Leave the pond behind by turning right onto the path marked with a green rectangle. Follow a gentle climb to reach the fitness trail and enjoy the beautiful view of Mont de Vannes and the villages of Mélisey and Saint-Barthélémy. Then turn left and follow the road to reach the car park at the Mélisey waste collection centre (S/E).
